Why the Email Finder May Not Return a Result

Sometimes, the Email Finder doesn't return any result. This can happen for two main reasons:

1. No Data Found for the Domain

Tomba relies on data gathered by our crawler from public web pages. If we don’t return an email, it could mean:

  • No email addresses are publicly available for that domain.

  • The crawler hasn’t yet visited the relevant pages.

  • The domain is new or rarely mentioned online.

You can verify this by running a Domain Search. If no results appear there either, it's likely we have no public data for that domain.

2. No Valid or Relevant Result

In some cases, Tomba has data for the domain but still doesn’t return an email. Why?

  • Our system tested potential emails but couldn’t verify them.

  • The email was previously available but removed at the request of the owner.

  • The domain is a personal webmail provider (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) which we don’t support for professional emails.

Rather than guessing incorrectly, Tomba chooses not to return any result when confidence is low.

What You Can Do

If you believe the email address should exist:

  • Double-check the person’s full name. Avoid initials or middle names.

  • Confirm the correct domain name. It should be the domain used for sending business emails.

  • Use Domain Search to explore variations and see if the company uses a different domain for emails.

Even with the right inputs, sometimes the person may no longer work at the company, and their email is no longer valid.
