roubleshooting the Author Finder Tool
If the Author Finder tool is unable to identify the author of a blog post, it could be due to several reasons:
Possible Reasons
The author's full name or company domain is not available in our database.
Tomba has limited or no data for the domain you searched.
The algorithm did not find a relevant match for the provided information.
The RoBot was unable to extract information from the blog post’s content.
The website’s loading speed may have interfered with the crawling process.
What You Can Do
Although the Author Finder may not always return a result, you can improve your chances by following these tips:
Submit the full blog post URL, not just the homepage. This ensures our crawler accesses the right content.
Try using the Email Finder instead especially helpful if the blog post was written by a guest author. Just enter the author's name and company to search directly.
Remember: The Author Finder uses Tomba’s crawling system to search public pages and emails related to the domain you input to identify possible author contacts.
