How Tomba Billing Works

Tomba uses Stripe as its payment processor, so your payments are secure and encrypted.

Subscriptions

When you subscribe to a paid plan:

  • Your card is charged immediately at checkout.

  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly).

  • You'll receive an invoice by email for each payment.

Upgrades and Prorations

When you upgrade to a higher plan mid-cycle:

  • The upgrade takes effect immediately.

  • You're charged the prorated difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remaining days in your billing cycle.

  • Your next renewal will be at the new plan's full price.

Downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower plan:

  • The change takes effect at your next billing cycle.

  • You keep full access to your current plan until then.

  • No additional charges are made.

Credit Packs (Pay as You Go)

Credit packs are one-time payments:

  • You're charged once at the time of purchase.

  • No recurring billing — credit packs do not auto-renew.

  • Credits are available immediately after payment.

Supported Currencies

Tomba supports payments in USD, EUR, and GBP. The currency is determined automatically based on your billing country.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, your subscription moves to a past due status. You'll receive email reminders to update your payment method. You can retry the payment or add a new card from your Subscription page.
