Google Sheets Add-on Permissions Explained

To work properly, the Tomba Google Sheets Add-on requires a few essential permissions. Below is a breakdown of what each permission does and why it’s necessary:

View and Manage Your Spreadsheets in Google Drive

This permission allows the add-on to read and write data in your Google Sheets. It's used to:

  • Read information such as first names, last names, and domains from your sheet

  • Write enriched data like email addresses, company details, and verification results into new columns

View and Manage Data Associated with the Application

This keeps you securely logged into your Tomba account inside Google Sheets, providing a seamless experience without the need to re-authenticate each time.

Connect to an External Service

This enables the add-on to communicate with the Tomba API in real time. It's required to:

  • Fetch verified email addresses and company information

  • Return the data directly into your spreadsheet for immediate use

🔒 Your Privacy Matters

Tomba only uses these permissions to deliver the services you request. We do not access, store, or share your data for any other purpose.
