Why does the Google Sheets add-on stop on long lists?

The add-on runs up to 1,000 rows at a time: carry on from the next row, or use Bulks for longer lists.

The add-on works through up to 1,000 rows in one run, so it stops there on a longer list. You can carry on from the next row, or use Bulks for the whole list.

Why a run stops or slows down

  • The 1,000-row limit. Domain Search, Email Finder and Email Verifier handle up to 1,000 rows per run.

  • The sidebar closed. The sidebar is the Tomba panel next to your sheet. Closing it stops the run, so keep it open until the run ends.

  • Your plan's rate limit. This is how many searches your plan allows per second and per minute. When you reach it, the add-on waits, then carries on by itself. A pause doesn't mean it has stopped.

  • Your plan's daily limit. Your plan also limits searches per day. Reaching this limit stops the run. It resets at 00:00 UTC.

Carry on with your list

  • If the run wrote to a new sheet: use the Continue from row button on the last-run card. It shows the next row to process.

  • If the sidebar closed: use Resume.

Use Bulks for longer lists

Bulks run inside Tomba, not in your sheet. They take much longer lists: up to 25,000 domains for Domain Search, and up to 10,000 rows for Email Finder.

Step 1. Open Bulks in the left menu and pick a tool, such as Domain Search.

Step 2. Add your list and choose your options.

The new Domain Search bulk form, with arrows on List name, Enter the domains, Your list contains, Maximum emails per domain and Verify emails

Step 3. Use Start bulk.

Step 4. When the bulk finishes, use Export In CSV.

💳 Credits: The add-on costs the same as the rest of Tomba and shows the cost before every run. With Domain Search, Email Finder and Email Verifier, rows with no result aren't charged. A bulk costs nothing to start: you pay on the first download.
