Do repeated searches use credits?

Running the same search again in the same usage window is free, with a few exceptions.

Written by Tomba.io Team

No. Running the same search again in the same usage window is free, and you still see the results.

Your usage window is the period between credit resets. On monthly plans, it runs from one billing date to the next. On Free, yearly and Enterprise plans, it lasts 30 days.

What counts as a new search

These use credits again:

  • Changing any filter or page

  • A search by another workspace member, because each person is charged for their own searches

  • The same search after your credits reset

What this rule doesn't cover

Repeats aren't free for:

  • Bulks: running the same list again is charged again. Downloading the same bulk again is free.

  • Email count, which shows how many emails we have for a company

  • Email sources, which shows the public pages where an address was found

See it in your history

Open Settings > Requests History. A repeated search shows Free in the Cost column.

The Request History table with outlines on Export CSV and the Cost column, where rows show Free or 1 credit
