Written by Tomba.io Team

This guide covers everything you need to know about managing your leads in Tomba Leads — from adding new contacts to exporting your data.

Adding Leads

There are two ways to add leads:

1. Save from Domain Search or Email Finder

Whenever an email result includes a full name, you'll see a + button next to it. Click that icon to save the contact as a lead.

2. Manually Add from the Leads Section

  1. Go to Leads from your Tomba dashboard.

  2. Click + New Lead.

  3. Fill in the contact details:

    • Email (required)

    • Phone number and country

    • First and last name

    • Company name and position

    • Company domain

    • LinkedIn and Twitter handles

    • List assignment

    • Custom attributes (if configured)

  4. Click Create Lead to save.

Viewing and Editing Leads

Detail Panel

Click on any lead in the table to open its detail panel. The panel has three tabs:

  • Details — View and edit all lead fields.

  • Activity — See a timeline of events (created, updated, source).

  • Integrations — View CRM sync status for Pipedrive, HubSpot, Airtable, and Mailchimp.

Inline Editing

You can edit certain fields directly in the table without opening the detail panel. Click on any editable cell to modify it:

  • Company

  • Position

  • Phone

  • Country

  • Website

  • Notes

Changes are saved immediately.

Notes

Add free-text notes to any lead from the detail panel. Notes auto-save as you type — no need to click a save button.

Search, Filter, and Sort

Use the search bar at the top of the leads table to find leads by name, email, company, or any field. Results update as you type.

Filter

Click the Filters button to apply field-based filters and narrow down your view.

Sort

Click on any column header to sort leads in ascending or descending order. You can sort by name, email, company, score, source, created date, and more.
