How Tomba Leads works

Learn how Tomba Leads works as a contact management hub for organizing, enriching, and acting on your business contacts.

Written by Tomba.io Team

Tomba Leads is a built-in contact management system that helps you organize, enrich, and take action on your business contacts — all from one place.

How It Works

When you use Tomba to find emails, verify addresses, or discover contacts through the browser extension, you can save those results as leads. Once saved, leads live in your Leads dashboard where you can manage them just like contacts in a CRM.

The Leads Dashboard

Your Leads dashboard is made up of three main areas:

  • Sidebar (Lead Lists) — Browse and switch between your lead lists. Each list groups related contacts together (e.g., by campaign, company, or project).

  • Main Table — View all leads in the selected list. The table displays key fields like name, email, company, position, phone, score, and more. You can search, filter, sort, and inline-edit directly in the table.

  • Lead Detail Panel — Click on any lead to open a detail panel with tabs for details, activity timeline, and connected integrations.

Where Leads Come From

Leads can be added to your dashboard in several ways:

  • Domain Search — Click the + button next to any result to save it as a lead.

  • Email Finder — Save found contacts directly to a lead list.

  • Browser Extension — Extract contacts from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Apollo, and other platforms.

  • Manual Entry — Click + New Lead in the Leads section to add a contact by hand.

Each lead tracks its source (domain, finder, verify, or browser) so you always know where a contact came from.

What You Can Do with Leads

Once leads are saved, you can:

  • Verify email addresses and see confidence scores

  • Find phone numbers for your contacts

  • Edit lead details inline or in the detail panel

  • Organize leads into lists and move them between lists

  • Export leads to CSV

  • Sync leads to your CRM (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Airtable, Mailchimp)

  • Add custom attributes to track additional data

  • Collaborate with your team on shared leads
